"We are all storytellers. We all live in a network of stories. There isn't a stronger connection between people than storytelling."

Upcoming Workshops, Events, Offerings

From NBC Page to Documentary Director, everything I know about nonfiction storytelling I learned by doing. Which is to say, I've accumulated a lot of reps and I made a lot of mistakes. Teaching is my way to share in the joy of it, nerd out about it, and help fellow storytellers avoid the missteps I made along the way.

Rather than just courses where I dole out production pro-tips (which I also do), my teaching emphasizes curiosity, presence, ethics, and the sense that who you are as a storyteller matters just as much as who you're able to book on camera.

Whether you're just getting curious about documentaries or you've been making films for years, I'd love for you to join. The best learning happens in community. Bring your curiosity and your conundrums and let's goooo!
